September Courtyard, Featuring - Five Degrees of Freedom

The members of "Five Degrees of Freedom" are not only work mates, but also a group of multi-talented musicians. The band originally formed in 2005 to perform at a scientific conference. Since then they have played at other functions enthralling audiences with their riffs, rhythms and sweet four-part harmonies. This versatile five-some, with classical, jazz and rock training, play a wide variety of instruments ranging from the charango to the bagpipes! Some of their repertoire includes covers of songs by Pink Floyd, Queen, The Beatles, Paul Simon and Crowded House.

The "Five Degrees of Freedom" are: Ilya Budovsky, Bruce Warrington, Errol Atkinson, Erik Thorvaldson, and Chris Barton, with the participation of John Peters - physicists by day ~ musicians by night

Five Degrees of Freedom will be back in the Courtyard on the first Saturday evening in September
